Howard Dean’s Election Eve Address November 5, 2006

Filed under: politics — tim @ 2:25 am

So, uh, go vote on Tuesday! And if you live in Virginia, vote for Jim Webb, even if his full name doesn’t appear on the ballot. Oops! I’m sure that was a real mistake. Let me know how that looks in C-ville. Vote!

The ballot looked fine in Cville, fortunately!

“there are some things we disagree with Republicans about…the response to Hurricane Katrina.”

They are still worried about an uncontrollable hurricane with a failed LOCAL government response when they are about to pull our troops out of a war and cause a civil war where millions are going to die…

interesting. I’m glad we know where they stand when it comes down to the important things in life.

I’m glad I know where you stand when it comes to natural disasters that are mishandled by the federal government. Oh wait, it was the local mishandling? Of course! The federal government shouldn’t be held responsible for taking care of its people. Having an agency called “Federal Emergency Management Agency” isn’t supposed to handle, oh, I don’t know, emergencies. I suppose it’s just New Orleans’ fault for being in the way of the hurricane! Stupid city!

Incidentally, if we weren’t shipping National Guard troops overseas, we’d have had much less problems with the hurricane response.

Interesting. I’m glad I know where uncompassionate people like yourself stand. Go have an earthquake wrapped in a hurricane in your backyard.

Also, did they tell you they were going to just pull out of the war and create a vacuum? Funny, I’ve never heard that.
